Emma is doing well, growing quickly and becoming strong, over 10 pounds and 22 inches. She is now holding her head up for extended periods of time, turning her head from side-to-side while lying down, picking her head up while on her tummy, and pushing herself up with her legs. On Saturday, her 8-week birthday, she started smiling in response to someone smiling at her. She doesn't do it every time, but more and more each day. Also on Saturday, she made her first goo-goo noise! It was amazingly cute and made my heart melt. I can't wait until she's doing it all the time. Though, I still love her snorty piglet noises!
Right now, she is waking up about every 2 hours or so to eat. It's pretty exhausting. We're hoping it ends soon, but who knows.
